Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) is used for the cultivation and enumeration of yeasts and molds. Chloramphenicol is added to PDA to inhibit the growth of a broad spectrum of gram negative and gram positive bacteria. Gentamicin inhibits the growth of gram negative bacteria. 3P-300
